ComSciCon Atlanta 2019 is a science communication conference organized by and for graduate students. *Postdocs are also encourage to apply.*
The goal of this free two-day workshop is to empower future leaders in technical communication to share the results from research in their field to broad and diverse audiences. You will have the opportunity to improve your writing skills by receiving one-to-one feedback from technical communication leaders in the region. You will learn how to write to an intended audience, develop a story that could be pitched to a media outlet, establish and maintain an online presence, and much more! You will also have the opportunity to network with future leaders in sci-comm in a collaborative and inclusive environment. The conference will take place on March 14th – 15th, 2019 at Emory Atwood Chemistry Center.
Applications open from November 12th to December 12th.
